PICKING UP YOUR EGG
Date: Sunday, May 26 th 2023
Location: GP Home Furniture (44680 Yale Road, Chilliwack BC)
Time: 4:30pm-6:00pm
Pick Up Process: When you pre-purchase your demo egg, it will be assembled and waiting for your arrival to BC EggFest. The event closes at 4pm and the site will be cleared of guests by 4:30pm. At that time, two names will be instructed to line up outside the gate and you will be directed inside the property with your vehicle when your egg is ready to be loaded. Due to limited space, only one car will be allowed to load at a time. Please have your car clear and ready to go so we can quickly load up your Egg!

- Your Egg has been cooked on all day and needs time to cool. Staff will work hard to remove charcoal so your egg cools down as quickly as possible. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
- Burnt Eggs buyers must attend the EggFest. Tickets are sold at bceggfest.com
- Your Egg must be picked up after EggFest festivities have concluded on May 28th. The loading of Burnt Eggs will start at 4:30pm.
- Please bring a vehicle large enough to accommodate your Demo Egg. Because your Egg should be transported standing up, you will need 33" of height in your vehicle. Passenger cars make for a difficult transfer so please bring a small SUV or bigger. Don’t forget to bring blankets, straps and padding to ensure your egg does not crack during transportation.
- Our awesome EggFest staff will assist in the loading of your Demo Egg but you are responsible for tying up your Egg and protecting it for transport. We suggest that you arrange for help at your residence to assist in unloading.
- While your Egg is cooling, Chef Dez is offering a Big Green Egg "Basics" class geared for the new Demo Egg owners at 3:450pm inside the Egg Store. When your Egg is ready for loading, we’ll announce your name in the store.
- Essential accessories like lump charcoal will be available to purchase in the Egg store. Supplies are limited. Hot tip: we use bags of charcoal to help pack our Egg in the vehicle!
- There are no refunds or returns on Demo Eggs once payment is received.
